Computed Radiography Preparation and Actual Examination

Preparation before the examination

1.  Female patient is requested to inform our staff if she is or may be pregnant on the date of examination.

2.  There is no special preparation. You may be asked to get change for your examination. You will also be asked to remove jewellery, eyeglasses and any metal objects that could show up on the images and overlap important findings. 

Experience during the examination

It is a painless examination.  You will be asked to hold your position still for several seconds until the image is being captured.

After the examination

Return to normal routine.
